Its a good thought, but, well, I gotta tell ya, as long as this one
works, or can be made to work, it is the one I'll use. I only have
the one CNC machine, and its my first one, so as far as I am concerned
- it is the standard. And its paid for. <G> Besides, anything that
was built in 1983 - 1984, used and abused for all these years, then
made parts for Peter more or less continuously for 5 years, and now is
working for me, and still runs and functions ... well this is "good
stuff" in my opinion. You should see the connectors on this beast -
MIL-SPEC stuff. Really bullet proof. I've seen some of the PC based
controls - not made like this one by a long shot. They do have their
benefits, but for the moment, this one will have to do.
