No, No, No. A G3X0 will not drive a stepper motor. It is specifically for a
brushed DC servo motor. You can not turn a stepper into a servo motor. You
can use one of the Camtronics Mauch/Kulaga DRO cards with a stepper,
encoder, and EMC to have a closed look stepper system, but it is NOT a
servo.
