I was thinking as I was typing that someone would point out that a stepper
motor is not very far removed from a brushless servo motor. I guess that my
major point is that while a closed loop stepper could be technically
consider a servo (a closed loop positioning system that involves negative
feedback) it does not give it the positive characteristics that most of us
are wanting out of a servo system.
Second point is it will not work with a G3X0 driver.
