Lately, I've been seeing WAY TOO MUCH of one at work.
1969 Butler Elgamill CS10, 6m X, 2m Y, 3m Z.
Retrofitting 100 hp hydraulic spindle drive, ballscrews, 4000 oz servos,
new Fanuc controller. (don't know the model, Boss hasn't decided.)
Etc...
I figure the final cost will be around 2-3 times the cost of buying
Cinci's version which is FACTORY CNC!

Sigh...
