Hi Tom, List,
Nice idea! A little big, but it could work. Panel shaft encoders are
also cheap, and work quite nice. Easy task to read them in through two
bits (digital) of a joystick port, and use the other two bits for "bump
switches" (a value in a parameter is "bumped" each time the button is
pressed, and rolls over). Put them all in a small die cast box, and you
have a convenient pendent.
