FYI: #3 Morse Taper w/drawbar is a fairly common Mill/Drill spindle format
in Asian equipment... the drawbar is to stop the taper letting go when doing
interrupted cuts... I have a Herless (Asian import into OZ) with this
setup... works just fine and is convenient for quick change to MT shanked
drill bits... downside, the taper is susceptible to jamming if the drawbar
is over tightened...

No, I am really not sure what it is. It does look like morse, but I was not
aware that you could have morse with a drawbar.
