Would all of the users of Vellum (whatever version) email me off-list.
I would like to know how many there are and what you are using...I will
compile and send each person back the tally...no personal data of
course.

I use Vellum Solids which also includes Vellum 3D. This is not an ad,
but I just renewed my support contract ($895 for 18 mths), and was told
that Vellum Solids is being tiered and that the lower end version starts
at $995.00. That is still more than $300, but as others have said,
Vellum is so intuitive to use, that it is difficult to describe.

So, Ashlar is trying to do make it more widely known and has opened a
new website at
http://www.ashlar-vellum.com

This has downloadable demos for all of the products, unrestricted,
except that they won't save the file.

If you are looking for Solids Modeling or 3D Drafting it is worth
looking at Vellum, particularly if you own a Mac, because it is one of
the few companies who support the Mac.

I am in no way associated with Ashlar, just a very, very satisfied
