No I found it under a seat, and turned it in to lost and found.
After 30 days nobody claimed it, so it was mine. The Boeing
777 has some real nice 15" flat screen touch displays for the
flight attendants to adjust lighting and temperature and such.
Those would make great controllers, but it probably costs
more than I make in a year. Once you put the Boeing name
on it, the price goes through the roof. I work as a aircraft
mechanic and you would be surprised at the prices they pay
for airplane parts. $40,000 for an MD80 cockpit door comes
mind. Made of foam and fiberglass with some aluminum
edging.
Back on topic, Will there be RPM's available for the BDI
when an EMC upgrade comes out? By the way, thanks
for all of the work you put into the BDI. I am so happy to
get away from RH 5.2. There was nothing more annoying
than the moving desktops whenever the mouse hit the
end of the screen.
