Garry,

You have not clearly stated what you want to do. In Cad-Cam,
especially CAM it is critical that you draw the part exactly as you
want it, as that is how it will turn out when you cut. In Vector 3D
scaling is done by Edit-Cut, Edit-Paste. You will notice as you edit-
paste that you have a large variety of options that you can perform
simultaneously. Translate, rotate, mirror, SCALE, and even multiple
copies for bolt circles and hole patterns.

For printing, under View-Options is a precise control of the VIEW
scale. This allows you to scale the view, without affecting the
actual sizes of the entities in your drawing and then you can print
them at whatever scale you desire.

Vector can also independently scale in the X or Y direction to adjust
a part or layout to a specific size, and it can independently scale
all the axes for CNC code output.

Generally you should post this kind of detailed Vector operational
question on the Vector user forum. It gets first priority for
answers to Vector questions. The reason being that the subject is of
interest to all Vector users, and not necessarily to all subscribers
to this listserve.
