Hi Garry,
I did something today which might be similar to what you're describing.
I received a drawing in mm, and I wanted it in inches. I did a "copy",
opened another "new" drawing window, and pasted at 1/25.4 scale. This
gave me a copy in inches. I then printed it out 1:1, so I could compare
it in a mock-up of a project I'm working on.
OK, it's not exactly a "print at 2:1 scale", but uses the scale to
effect a "scaled" printout!
