OOPS! I overlooked your speed-comment. I have been told by "woodworking
machine builders" that the double-row, angular-contact BB's are the ONLY way
to do high-speed spindle-bearings. Maybe some kinds of tapered rollers would
work, but I have NO clue, and have been told NOT!
