Of course! Linux is becoming one of the leading OS's for network
applications.

I am running a web server, email host, intra-net router and web browsing from

my linux system. I prefer netscape, but there are other web browsers
available.
The standard Red Hat CD has most of these on it. I think the BDI has
netscape
on it.
