Hi Weyland,

You could try opening a terminal window if one isn't already opened (use the
desktop as if it's windoze - ctrl-esc and then navigate with arrow keys) and
type into the terminal XF86Setup (exactly like that, note capitals). This
should give you a screen where you can change the mouse type and try out
your selection before you commit to it.
