Re: OT- Laptop Hard Drives?

I need to get in on this thread. It showed up at just the right time.

I have an oportunity to pick up a used HD for my P100 Satellite Pro
425CDS which presently has a 850Mb HD if I can get my notebook to
recognize a larger HD and pull the data off the drive. The HD that
has been offered to me is in the 4Gbyte size from a newer toshiba pII
thats crapped out. They look to be physycally and pin compatible but
my laptop won't recognize it. Can anyone clue me in on how I might to
get this to work in my Satellite Pro?
