too high. I don't know DeskNcrt, but I do know EMC. There must be a
setup file, and it should have a line for max_velocity and/or
default_velocity,
and max_acceleration and default_acceleration. Check what those values
are set to. They probably are in inches/second and in/sec^2. If you set
the accel parameters higher than the servo amp/motor/power supply
combination can provide, then the computer will get ahead of the physical
hardware, causing the exact problem you describe.
Umm, 10"/sec is 600 IPM. Can your machine really move that fast?
