Any particular reason why you want to convert a 3in1 machine to cnc?

It seems to me to be asking for frusteration. 1) I haven't heard
anyone overwhelmingly recommend any 3in1 - more frequent response is
that in general that they don't do anything really well. 2) You will
have the additional task of re-initializing/calibrating the cnc setup
every time you change from one machine mode to another (maybe I don't
know what I'm talking about, I have yet to set up my Sherline cnc).

Do you know of any web sites where anyone has converted a 3in1 to
cnc? I would be interested in seeing it if there is such a web site.
