Shawn,
I too use ACad (R-14). Draw your part outline (or toolpath if the
cam program will not do tool offsets for you) on a separate layer.
All other details on other layers if needed.
Save as a dxf file and import into the cam program to process to
G-code. Some cam progs will only accept lines, polylines and arcs.
You will know when you get there.
I use Bobcad mostly for post processing. I'm still a mile short
of getting the hang of Vector.
