current Eldorado. I have had it about 2 - 1/2 years.

Major drawback to the mill is the lack of a knee or moving head. I was about
ready to get the quadralift to solve this problem and ended up running in to
such a good deal on a Bridgeport that I bought Bridgett instead. Cost me
less than the Quadralift. If you are seriously considering a Shoptask I
would say that the Quadralift option is a must have.
> Is it a good buy?I think it is a good value for the money. It is not as good a buy as you can
get on something like a Bridgeport series I or II with a blown control, but
then again it does not require the commitment in shop space, phase
converter, tooling, negotiating with the wife, etc. It is not a perfect
machine and there are plenty of things you will end up tweaking, but if you
are constrained on space but need something bigger than a desktop type unit
I think it is the best bang for the buck.

much service.
