That would be called "Mastercam" :-) At least, that's what we use at work.
Solidworks is a solid modeling program, and can output IGES, STL,
Parasolid etc. formats but does need a CAM "rear-end" program for a
machining interface.

There is a Usenet newsgroup comp.cad.solidworks. Other than that, I don't
know of any online groups.
