Chris,

I checked the installation instructions. It does say to install in
the correct direction.

My experience with these belts was the same situation as Gary's,
except a Logan lathe. I don't recall paying any attention to
direction when I installed. I do know that machine was run for years
in both forward and reverse. We used it for tapping over a period of
10 years. It's sold now so I can't check to see which way the belts
were oriented.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll be more careful next time.
