No,No,.. the discussion was on the relative merits of line segments versus
Arc's. You can use either one. If you instruct Cam to output the arc's as
line segments, the cam program controlls the resolution of the arc's that
the controller cuts.. , If you use Arc's in a G-Code file, then the
controller cuts the arcs into little line segments. In the end it's always
cut as series of line segments. All controllers do this, because its a
digital world.
Your right, all arcs are either in the XY XZ or YZ planes. Thats because
all arbitrary planes can also be defined in terms of these three.
