GE 1/6 HP motor wiring Problem.

Hi,
I'm currently learning the joys and pains of CNC via a Taig CNC Mill. I'm
very happy with the mill apart from the motor that is supplied with the
mill. It's a 1/8 HP, and I think that that is optimistic.
I have a General Electric 1/6 HP 230/115V surplus motor. The model number is
5KCR19NG410X. I guess it's part of the 5KCR series.
It has 7 wires, the wire colours are as follows.
Red , Black
Blue , Yellow
White , Purple
Green/Yellow (Earth)
My guess is that it has 3 coils, one for a starting coil, the other two for
the 230/ 115 configuration.
Can anybody help me with a wiring diagram for the motor, or any clues to
determine its configuration.
Thanks,
Peter Homann

Jan,
I've been using the cheap carbide PCB drill bits too. I just cut out some
parts from .080 aluminum with them and they work great. I've used them
as 1/16" router bits in wood, MDF, and high density foam. Even cut some
stainless steel with them. The best part is at about $10.00 for qty of 50
when I break them I don't even flinch, just get another one. Here is a link
to one of his sales on ebay for anyone who's interested.

I bought 100 PCB-drill- bits (solid-carbide, of course) on e-bay for a very
low price, and was a bit surprised when they arrived: They are clearly
spiral "up-cutting" two-flue mill-bits, with a 140° center-cutting tip, much
like a drill-bit, only "flatter". They drill into FR-4 (that's PCB
fiber-glass epoxy, to those of you who don't know), and can "mill" sideways
very well, like a "router-bit", if turning over 3000 RPM, that is! So, they
are TRULY "slot-cutting drills". They work excellently on aluminum-sheet,
being two-flute. One lives and learns...
