Normally, I would send this off-list, but as others have discussed the CL
series here, I thought I'd share what little I know.
It seems to be a 3 axis servo PWM controlled system. I have checked what
comes from the printer port during initialization and it seems to try to
home at turn on, looking for home switches as it puts out a pulse width
modulated pulse on one pin. If I simulate the home switch, it then repeats
on another pin. So the upshot is, the system seems to be a pulse width speed
control with home switch pins. This makes it incompatible with all
controlers I've ever heard of with the exception of the MaxNC it came with.
I do not use servo's however, so perhaps some of the servo experts here can
help you find a controller which will output PWM to the motors.
