He did say a PCBMill. The X any Y axis are only 12"
long on the PCBMill. I mill circuit boards for a local
engineer. I have done well over 50 boards. The only thing
wearing out is the milling bits. The PCB material is
a real killer. My threaded rod and Delrin cost me under
$6 per axis. Why would I spend more? My boards end up
in a potted box anyway. Have you ever used threaded rod
with Delrin or Nylon? How can you say it will wear out?
What will wear out is an expensive misaligned assembly.
Kleinbauer's design eliminates the pitfalls of a build
it yourself machine. I built the whole machine for under
$150. I made my money back in several weeks with one
customer.
