Just thought I would post my 2 cents on this to note my experience with
Geckodrive products. The old adage is that a satisfied customer may tell
someone, but an unsatisfied customer will go out of their way to tell 10
people how bad a product is. Thought I would try to balance the numbers.
I have been using Gecko G320 drives since Mariss offered the prototypes to
the list about 1-1/2 years ago. I have used a number of the various version
of the G320 as I have put them on additional machines and have also played
with the G210a and the G201. I have only good things to say about them. They
have worked reliably in my installations and when I have had problems they
have been self induced. Gecko has been tremendous in supporting the product
and bent over backwards to repair the user induced defect I admittedly
created. Additionally, Mariss has spent large amounts of time helping me
better understand the drives and motors in general both on and off the list.
I have also communicated with quite a number of Gecko drive users who have
been 100% satisfied with the drive they got and have nothing but positive
things to say about the service and help they have received.
