you may want to do more research... as it's been awhile since i've done that
kind of install,
but what you want to do (i think) is to boot with a root-boot floppy (i used
tom's root boot floppy)

and fdisk the drive, create your partitions, one being only for the
installation stuff (like 650 megs or so--the same size as a CD) then copy
the stuff over, NOW, i dont think it's feasible to get the par-port CD up
and running under toms... so im not sure how to get the rpms over...? do you
have access to multiple drives? or anything like that?
