Well, I have noticed that you certainly seem to know Your products inside and out ! That's a good thing for us!

I have a temporary "Shift" in job description, so when I am "playing" with Cad/Cam stuff they look at me funny. Lately, my computer better have an html app or a database running when the boss comes thru !

Comparing G-Code to the options related to html...... there is no comparison that is for sure. This months EE Times magazine has an article telling how the control world is starting to use Java for applications. Even though there are many who despise the concept of PC in control, It sure looks like it is going to go there.

I can see where the Cad/Cam production world and Industrial communication thru Browsers will indeed collide very soon. We may all need to know machine code and the related "code" for html, Intranet and Extranet use very soon.
