It actually does 15 to 20 more passes of only the last pass. The part does
finish to the expected I.D. but it takes an extra 15 minutes per pocket
multiply that by 9 = lots of wasted time. It does not remove any material it
just goes right over it's last pass. The only way I know of canceling a
routine like that is to actually bring the tool up to clearence for the next
pocket. I actually fixed it "manually" I edited the g-code by removing all
the extra lines in the code. I just don't want to have to do this everytime
I mill a pocket.
Thanks,
Alex

Perhaps you are seeing the "clean-up" pass that most pocketing routines
generate. Does it do one more pass around the square, or more than one?
Does the part "finish" to the expected I.D.'s? Try "painting" the roughed
pocket with blueing dye, and check to see if it's the last thing removed.
Maybe you didn't cancel the pocketing code properly.
