Hi,

The insulation limit is hundreds of volts. The heat limit is about 20
to 25 times the motor's rated voltage. As an example, a single-stack
size 23 motor may be rated at 3.8A, 1.25V. The maximum supply voltage
would be 25 to 30 volts.

With a non-recirculating switching drive (G201), the motor would get
hot even if it was stopped. With a recirculating switching drive it
would not, but they have miserable resonance problems.
