Thanks Brian,
I haven't actually installed the 2.2.12 kernel yet - I am just preparing to
install linux on another machine and thought that it would be good to put
the latest stuff on it. Presumably, though, it would be easier to go down
the route you suggest and fully install RedHat 6.1 with the 2.2.12 kernel
and then regress to the 2.2.10 one as this will also install all the
associated bits and bobs?
