That should work (as I did it that way). You should note a few things, however:
you will probably need to symlink /usr/src/linux/include/asm-i386 to /usr/src/linux/include/asm AFTER you put int he 2.2.10
kernel (because the platfoirm-specific includes need to be found when compiling things). Also, follow all instructions in the
EMC installation instructions. You will have to copy the modules out of the /lib/modules/......./rtl_*.o to
/usr/src/rtl/modules/rtl_* (without the .o) as this is where EMC looks for them, although I'm sure there's a way around that in
the EMC configs, I just took the easy way out with it.
