Yup, the BIOS message (if it has one) will be a great help in figuring
out what make the card is. It may or may not lead you directly to the
correct Linux driver. But, then, powering it up in the Linux box SHOULD
ALSO give the BIOS signon message, if it has a BIOS. If not, then you
are left to the mercy of the Windows procedure that identifies new hardware
(ugh).
