In the typicall PC Controller use sense, You will have a problem with that !
you need a method to "jog", "move" and just plain old control the machine AT
the machine.
I've been forced in a pinch to throw two 50 foot cables together and run
FlashCuts SigGen 50' from a PC and it worked fine. It is a long run back to the
control though if something goes wrong !
Most of the 2 computer discussion I speak of is One computer to Draw and
develop toolpaths on and another to be the Controller simply networked together
to transfer the projects toolpath(s).
There has been discussion in this group last week to actually have 2 PC where
one does the work of machine movement and the other "Sees" what is going on
kind of like PC anywhere best I can understand. that discussion was by using
Linux.
