I've got 2 - a Milwaukee #3 and an old I-don't-know-what with a B&S #11 taper. I have always liked their rigidity ever since I learned how to use one in high school.

Hi, well at least two of us have horizontal mills, I do and alan R. also has
one. Many people who have not worked a horizontal mill it is hard to
understand from vertical thinking. I ran a boring mill, just a horizontal
mill with nice ways, everything done on its side rather than top down. Many
convert horizontal mills by hanging a vertical head off the support overarm.
