Stan,

I'm pretty sure everything is the same except the #4 has the
mechanical advantage of the ratchet action.

To get this on topic.....I've thought about wrapping a chain around
the base of my #3 so it's like a #4. Then adding a motorized drive
in place of the ratchet mechanism with the degree of rotation and
work clamping under computer control. The intention is to come up
with an automated bender.

So far I haven't come up with an easy solution to the torque
requirements of the drive motor, other than using an hydraulic
motor.
