The two are the same. The, "u", in, "uF", is actually a Greek character that
looks like a, "u", with a tail that goes straight down like a letter, "q".
The, "mfd", simply means, "micro-Farads". Some folks like to, "spell", them one
way, some the other. This of course, does not go into pico-/nano- Farads, etc.
