oooh, boy,,,, Now you also have hit a spoon, knife and ladle in the road !

Much of that depends on what you want to make. Also,What dimensional accuracy is necessary. How much post processing of the part (sanding-grinding) do you want to do, depending on the parts final use.
Is it going to be welded anywhere. Is it going to be folded or bent (some tempering may happen at the point of cutting via plasma making real clean folds questionable). Are you going to be cutting
some generally soft grade aluminum or some of the high grade tempered aircraft sheet stock......................

yes, Questions abound, but are necessary to come to a good conclusion.

A big trade off here is the rigidity of both styles of machine. One is not so rigid and is much cheaper to build, the other, well, you get the idea.
