Hi, Sean:

Have you considered that one of your 'known working' boards was fried when
you inserted it into the system? It's often the case that, if the root cause
of your problem is something external to the electronics, not fixing that
problem causes any board you insert to be damaged immediately when power is
applied.

Just a thought....

|that I had swapped out every board in the machine with known to work
|ones? I remember those little silver "button" type deals on the SMD
|cards, but nowhere else in the machine. It would be a huge
|coicedence if a "was working fine" card did exactly the same thing,
|on the same axis when swapped in wouldn't it?
