If You have a SERIES-I, then you're (probably) not looking for a little
black cylinder. Look for a TO-3 case on each of the (3) SMD boards. I
think you'll want to look at Q4 &Q13, and Q9 & Q18. In the same area, is
the ACC board- look at Q1, Q6, Q11& Q17, Q19, Q21 & Q16, Q18, Q20). Behind
those sets of boards is the power/heatsink panel. Q1 thru Q4 (2N6521)are
common problems. We replaced ours with 2N6547's for a couple bucks each.
Also some power diodes on the heatsink, we replaced with 1N3211. Contact me
off-list if you have a SERIES-I, I have Maint Manual, thru Boss 6.
