Since the head is sealed anyway it doesn't matter if they pass over it. Some
strong suction around the cutting might draw a good deal of them away as
well. Just a thought, seemed like a good idea at the time! :) Perhaps
then you'd have problems with eddies being made around bits of the machine
and vibrating it if the coolant was flowing too quickly? Maybe I should get
to work with a search engine and find out why it hasn't been done for sure.
The number of mad wacky things I've seen people do with problems like this
makes me wonder.
