How about pumping the coolant, quickly, from the base of the machine up and
over it? So pushing el chippoes away from the table and screws underneath?
Since the head is sealed anyway it doesn't matter if they pass over it. Some
strong suction around the cutting might draw a good deal of them away as
well. Just a thought, seemed like a good idea at the time! :) Perhaps
then you'd have problems with eddies being made around bits of the machine
and vibrating it if the coolant was flowing too quickly? Maybe I should get
to work with a search engine and find out why it hasn't been done for sure.
The number of mad wacky things I've seen people do with problems like this
makes me wonder.
