When one is checking why a motor didn't turn, one can measure the
phase voltages while jogging one step at a time, which for full-step
I think would be:

+Vm +Vm -Vm -Vm ....... (haven't tried)

and for half-stepping would be:

+Vm + Vm +Vm 0 -Vm -Vm -Vm 0 ........ (tried)

so one then would know the driver board is stepping correctly

With a microstepping driver like the Gecko, how would the phase
voltage go by jogging 1 step at a time?
