PC Controller - EMC - linux, free <-- no threading
or TurboCAD - freeware but registration is $20 <-- threading, DOS
Ballscrews and yoke - HiWin $550 (2 axis) <-- drive the knee
Motors - $450 - 3 ea PMDC
Power Supply - $200 -
Motor Drivers - $360 - 3 ea Gecko 320
Wiring - $30
Gearing and other hardware - $100
No limit switches, emergency stop, coolant control, CAD software.
