SLO-SYN 12.7 Amp motors

I have a Bridgeport which has been fitted with SLO-SYN 1.75 volt 12.7 amp stepper motors on all three axis. They are 200 steps/rev and set at 1 to 1 ratio to the ball screws
How much power supply do I need to drive these motors and where can I buy them.
I also need drivers which will interface with EMC software.
I have the machine with motors mounted and I have a 166 MHz computer with EMC loaded. I need everything in between!
I know there are a few who have plenty of experience with this topic. I am ready for some suggestions on the hardware needs and just where I should look to find what I need. I have a head start as this machine was running as a CNC. I don't have much left of the original control as they were stripping the machine and sending the parts out in the dumpster. The machine came to me as scrap, but it is very good iron. I just need to give it a new control. I have the old power supplies, but I think an upgrade is warranted here.
I am not too educated in this area, so let me have it in terms for a beginner.
I have a Bridgeport which I converted using the AH-ha system. I want to try and set this one up running linux and EMC.
Thanks
