Steve,
A co. that I worked for in the 60's, 70's and 80's used Bristol set
screws. They are far superior to Allen types especially in the smaller
sizes where it is easy to strip an Allen, these take 10 times the torque
before ripping out. I certainly hope they're not another thing of the
