I have uploaded two picts to Photos , Z Axes folder that shows using
square alum. stock. However I would not run rollers on it like I did.
Aluminum is too soft ,... you can't preload the rollers nor apply
load, it mushes. What I plan on doing is to use larger stock for
greater stiffness, my router can then sit inside drawing cooling air
from above, and then mount two square pieces of steel stock for the
rollers to run on. The finished asmembly would be T shaped if looking
down from the top.
