Bridgeport Boss 4 /Remex tape reader

I purchased a beautiful,low hour mill,but now I have to figure out
how to make it purrrrr.It has 2 ribbons coming out of the control,1
connects to a bundle of blue wires that go to the 'x' card,I
think,and 1 goes to the tape reader,I sincerely believe...The control
has 2 ports in front ,as well.They are round ,and I heard they were
actually the rs232 hookup ports(one of them).I have Mastercam,and the
machine is powered by a Teco /Westinghouse freq drive.I am not THAT
dumb,but I have an excuse...My mommy dropped me when a hot chip got
caught in her collar.Now this was a LONG time ago,before the
laws,but......
