Well, it doesn't matter the "way it is supposed to work". What matters is that
it destroys information that is hard to reproduce, ie. it makes you re-zero
the machine at the reference location for every part. This is a disaster,
and just by itself, it makes me stay with my 1999 version.

I'm sitting out here, trying to make my PPMC hardware work with the BDI,
but I couldn't use the BDI myself, because of all these problems. This must
be a defined in emccanon.cc, I think.
