But really I don't think that it would be worth the effort, I still
think that there's advantages to doing all the kinematics
calculations in a program designed and refined to do just that, ie.
3DS MAX has a number of ways of working out kinematics developed over
many years and in it's last release incorporated a new set of
algorithms written by the programmer who wrote the Maya kinematics
module.
I think that the EMC module would need to be pretty much rewritten
for each type of robot and I'm not sure how well it handles the
constant velocity through all the axes.
