Hi Kent,
Fanuc 6MB is an old, but quite robust control. It was produced from
1980 till 1988, and than Fanuc says 33 months time between failures.
Based on 8086 at 5MHz. If 6MB, must be with CRT. Model A was with LED
display. Even that it has paper tape reader, it operates from memory
(bubble type). PTR port can be used for DNC, as not all version can
execute a program trough RS232. As a programming, language is nearly the
same like in Fanuc 0, with different system addresses, variables etc.
