Raul,

Try touching off the plasma thing with the parallel port cable
disconnected at the PC end and the drive powered up. See if the motor
moves or creeps. If it does not, then the problem is with the PC. You
might want to use a line RFI filter on your PC and drive power supply
115VAC input lines. Corcom comes to mind as filter source.

Let me know what you find.
